Grunge is a dynamic blender fabric designed by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics.  Available in a wide array of colors, it has been included in all BasicGrey collections since the Urban Couture Collection in 2008 and has since become a Premier Moda Basic. Grunge is an unique quilting fabric that is dyed first, then over-printed to provide a subtle, modern texture, that makes it the perfect blender texture for quilting, apparel, or crafting. It can vary widely depending on the number of colors applied, the subtlety or contrast of those colors, and so on. Grunge is a great alternative to solids in quilts, and if you want a solid?  The wrong side of the fabric is a usable solid color because the base cloth is actually dyed and not printed.
